Debating the Amendment:: 15 Millioin, Priceless

<div><p>They're speaking about the amendment that would send the issue of extendign term limits to the public by creating a charter revision commission to put it on the ballot. </p><p>Robert Jackson said he's against the amendment, and said, "lets not play games. Stand up and don't be afraid," to change term limits legislatively. </p><p>Vinny Gentile said the public is a third and co-equal decision maker about public policy. </p><p>Interestingly, Anthony Como, a former Board of Elections Election Commissioner, said there is no time to put the issue on the ballot. It would cost $15 million, he said, and that money could be used to fund other program, like senior centers. </p><p>Rosie Mendez, the next speaker, said democracy was "priceless," and that "this should go back to the voters.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=35554370&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
