<div id="subtitle">Former Voice of America official pleads not guilty to corruption charges in Abramoff probe</div><div><p>A former top official for Voice of America has pleaded not guilty to accusations that he was corrupted after being lavishly entertained by now-imprisoned lobbyist Jack Abramoff.</p><p>Horace Cooper entered the plea during his arraignment Wednesday at federal court in Washington.</p><p>He is accused of taking thousands of dollars worth of tickets to sporting events and concerts like 'N Sync, the Dixie Chicks, and Bruce Springsteen without reporting them. He's also accused of receiving thousands of dollars in meals and drinks at the restaurant Abramoff owned and a Super Bowl part for him and about 25 friends.</p><p>Prosecutors say Cooper illegally advanced the interests of Abramoff and his clients when he was working as chief of staff at Voice of America and then the Labor Department.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=58387012&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
